Can you host my website?
With pleasure, in fact this is what we like to do. In this way we can take care of even more of the nitty gritty and allow you to get on with your business
If you chose to host with us you do not have to worry about any of the technical issues surrounding the computer that holds your website, the web server. We take care of that.
We offer different hosting plans to suit your needs. The smallest is suitable for a simple "brochure style" site and comes with 5 email addresses. The largest can cater for a very complex site and comes with as many email addresses as you need.
How do I know how popular my site is?
Every website we set up comes complete with google analytics. All you require is a google account to access them. This will allow you to easily see the effect e.g. promotions have on visits to your website.
What about my email?
All our hosting plans come as standard with email. You do not have to take this if you prefer to stay with your current email provider and we can arrange with them to just point your website at our servers.
Can I read emails away from the office?
Yes. If your emails are hosted with us you can read your email online from any browser by typing in http://webmail.<yourdomain>
Once logged-in you can read and send mail - great if you are out and about.
Can I change my email password?
You are responsible for your own passwords. We will set them up initially for you, after that it is up to you to change them to what you want.
The only time we will reset them is if you ask us to explore a problem and we have your permission to look into your mailbox.
How do I promote my new website?
This is a hard one and essentially depends on the amount of money you are willing to spend and who your target audience is.

How secure is my data?
In addition to hosting your website we will implement a backup that takes all your content, squeezes it as small as possible and emails it to you. How often this happens depends on how regularly you update your content - weekly is the usual.
It is then up to you to store this and send it to us should something go wrong.
We will then expand the file and re-build your website from it.
Incidentally, it's also best to keep a copy of all images, pdfs, etc. that you upload as we do not backup these due to their size.
If you require a more frequent backup then we can set this up for you without charge.
What about hackers?
While we cannot guarantee your site will not be hacked, we do our best to prevent it.
Apart from the usual security measures your main protection comes from the type of websites we host.
We only host for our customers so everyone is known personally to us and you can be sure no "inappropriate" material will appear in websites on the server, alongside your material.
Because we only have "safe" material our servers are uninteresting for hackers. The chance of upsetting someone who then decides to "attack" the server is unlikely.
